I must admit I had not heard of goat yoga before I met Fran on one of my DIY pool courses. She had this vision of a pool for goats - the concept of which I found befuddling but intriguing . This film contains images of yoga and strangely hypnotic goats.

Making an Organic Pool with clay instead of a plastic liner. Eleonora and her husband had a farmhouse pond in need of restoration and as part of the work, they incorporated my bubble pump (airlift) circulation system to provide the filtration in this clay-lined pool.
Putting a pike in the plunge pool may sound counter intuitive (daft) but in this situation, it sounds like such a reasonable idea. The pool has unwanted sticklebacks, they eat our precious filter feeding daphnia. The pike should control the numbers of stickleback and allow the population of daphnia to recover.

The pool has a relatively small planted zone so an Olive Bioflter (invented by David Pagan Butler), provides additional water cleansing.
Designed by David Pagan Butler (me), this pool has become a valuable place for wildlife as well as a luscious freshwater swimming pool. The entire pool is circulated with my Organic Pools bubble flow system and uses less then 100 Watts. It also incorporates a "self cleaning" function that periodically removes accumulated silt from the corners.
